Feelings towards a painted Carbon Fiber hood...
I just put in my Seibon KS hood and I think it looks good. But the longer I look at it, the more I feel like painting it Titanium like the rest of the car. I don't care if the hood is CF or not, but I do like the styling of the hood.
What are people's opinions on painting a CF hood? Has anyone done so and how does it look?

I just got one of these hoods off the board, and it has sun clear coat damage so I am definately painting it...Ti gray.. I am getting it for better cooling, and could care less about the farbon ciber rice look....

i think painting it is a good idea, but paint only the top, leave the underside unpainted so when you pop the hood ppl see the CF
btw, id also recommend changing the front lip or the side skirts. the lip is way aggressive and the skirts are very subtle.

if there is any damage in the cf, yea i would paint it. heck, i wouldn't put cf on my car w/o paint, but that's just me. it can be left cf and still be very tasteful. if you feel like the cf look is wearing out for you, then go ahead and paint it.

I bought it because of the style...not because it was CF. I like this style over the stock hood, which I think looks lame. I have given a lot of consideration for painting over the CF. I just didn't know if people actually do it.
I know a lot of people are not a fan of my front end and my sideskirts...but I like them :P
