Front Mask "Bra"

I already searched.

Does anyone here have any pictures of their car (preferable black) with the oem rx8 front end mask. I know a lot of people think its hideous, but hey, RSX's can pull it off...

I've got one, but I can't use it now that I have the MS front.
I think I only used it once or twice, anyway.

I actually need the bra to cover up my horrible front bumper. It's not that its dirty, or that I'm worried about bugs. My bumper truly detracts from the beauty of all RX8s...

Hey, Mazda Maniac, you anywhere in the Bay Area? If you are, you willing to part with yours?

The car's not black, but here's the mask. Initial install took me about 40 minutes. It was incredibly tight the first time I put it on, but after sitting in the sun for a few hours that first day, it conformed much better. Takes about five minutes to put on now. It's 2-piece, the hood section is separate and you must take care to line-up the edges with the portions over the eyelids.

I have to say that I'm not fond of the looks of the 8 with the mask on, but for road trips it's a must if you want to avoid paint chips on the nose area.

OMG thank you guys for the pics. I'll definitely pick one up. And its good to know that I can NOT use the hood piece, because the LeBra cover has those flaps that stick up...hideous.

The hood cover piece on the Mazda mask has a little edge that sticks-up as well, but less than an inch. The idea is to act as a bug deflector- but it doesn't work, in practice.

Mine doesn't flap at all- make sure it's tight and it shouldn't be a problem.

Not fast I guess, I've had it to 95 with the mask and didn't notice any flapping of the hood part.

Since the bug deflector upturn doesn't work anyway, and most of the point is nose protection, I guess you can leave the hood part off without concern.

Try this link: www.invisiblepatterns.com There is a Dealer locater link near the top right of the page. This is for the Venture Tape product called VentureShield. They have a couple of patterns for the RX-8.

Don't have one so I can't vouch for the product, however, someone mentioned Venture Tape in another thread and I sent them an email and they referred me to the site above.

Thanks for the info, is their any type of "tape" or something, that you can just wrap around your bumper, so if you have an non OEM bumper you can protect it

the nearest place for me is in New york lol
