Hawk HPS pads with Centric Rotors???

I am experiencing a lot, and I mean a lot of squealing every time that I step on my brakes. I have already searched the forum numerous times for advice. I work at a tire and brake shop, so I have a good amount of experience with your average vehicle. I am aware that there is going to be some squealing due to the fact that it is a performance vehicle with performance parts, so please, no flamers!

I tried installing Bendix ceramics (with my stock rotors) and they suck. It could be the rotors (I've turned the rotors), or that the interaction of the rotors and the pads.

Anyway, I would like some advice from those that know more than me. I am not interested in spending a lot of money on my braking system because I am not going to run this car on the track.

Thanks for your help!

have you tried resurfacing your rottors?
im not that keen on bendix

the mazda oem pad is good, the mazdaspeed pads are real good

but hawk hps are really good. go to rx7store.net and look at the kits, you can get all 4 rotors(slotted or slotted and drilled) and great pads at a really good price.

i would not get the drilled, because they are know to crack under stress, literally.

i would get the slotted set.
