WOW! I just now noticed that. It will be on the 23rd of June.

 

I noticed that as well Shat. One other thing I did not see was a time. It mentioned the meeting time as being 2pm and it also said that it could be later. Do you know which one it is for sure?

 

The time will be 2pm but, people will be coming from all over that's why that 2ish is in there.

 

I'll be there on my lunch hour!

 

Well at this time I have to work in that day, but if everything goes as planned then I should be off work by the time the meet starts so I am planning on going myself!

 

Would it be better if we moved the time too 4 or 5 then?

 

2pm would be more convenient for me since I will already be in town, but if it works better for others to have it later then I can just come on back into town!! Just more reason to drive the 8!

 

Ok well the new time is 4pm so everybody can have a chance to show up. Also how does the name Zia rotaries sound for the club name?

Well the first meet wasn't like I thought it would be. I showed up around 4 and there was only 2 other people and they were Stinger and Nemisis from the rx8 site(Thanks again for showing up on time guys!) Did anybody else show up afterwards or everybody just didn't feel like going?

 

I thought it was today... my bad. got the 8 all washed an everything too... I'll see you guys there next time, as long as I get the date right...

 

I had a last minute trip out of town - won't be back till tomorrow night late.

The next one should be in the evening with a cruise afterwards. 100+ degree NM heat could keep some people away. Maybe next month.

 

I kind of agree with you there Nemesis, except I would rather see it in the A.M.. The temps are much cooler and allows for much more time to have fun. Not only that, but if everyone wanted to we could then have a real nice drive in the Sandia's or even up to the Jemez and back to Los Alamos before it got exceptionally HOT in the afternoon. By the way it was great meeting you on Saturday.

On another note I also want to THANK Shat83 for making that really long trip into ABQ. to meet up with us! I also enjoyed meeting you as well Shat83! If luck holds out, at the next meeting your 7 will be running!
