Do I stick with the Dunlop 8090 or do I get a different tire?
Do I stick with the Dunlop 8090 or do I get a different tire?
12K on my 2006. Got a flat. $271 for the 8090. Slapped it on and rotated the tires. Now I have a bad pull to the left (from uneven tire wear). They will let me buy all new tires if I like and credit me for the new 8090.
QUESTION: Should I take this opportunity and get 4 new tires?
CONCERN:
I do NOT want to give up ride quality (noise).
I do NOT want to give up handling.
I do NOT want to select a tire with a poor treadwear (the 8090 is 280 which isn't bad).
Of course I would like improved handling/grip, though again.....don't want a noisy tire.
THOUGHTS? THANKS!

At 12K miles myself I'm still very impressed with the Dunlop 8090's. As you know, excellent handling and yet remarkably quiet. I'll most likely go with them again when needed.
