I am trying to get an idea of how large the lip of a 19x9.5 wheel looks like. I am debating if I need to go as large as 19x10

 

it all depends on the offset of the wheel... so make sure when you look for pics you also look at the offset of each rim

 

What would the offset be for a large lip so when I search for wheels I have an idea of what to look out for.

 

Ummm, the style of wheel is probably more important then the offset.

I can answer you exactly, but once I read that your main focus is lip size I lost all interest ...

 

just see my sig, mine are 9.5 at +32 in the back. But that same dimension is not going to give you the same lip on a different wheel, if lip is what you're after then each one is going to vary depending on the style of the centers etc. There's nothing wrong with liking lip on your wheels, it is a bit silly to think going as wide as you can will get you the deepest though, even an 8.5 inch wide rim will have plenty of lip if you do it right.

look at each wheel you are interested in and check the offsets... all i was saying is make sure you pay attention to offsets, because the last thing you want to do is order wheels that dont look the way you want them to, whether they have Huge lip or not
