using gas with ethanol
how much of a problem is it to burn ethanol blended gas in the rotary? In canada more gas stations are selling gas with up to 15% ethanol. The mazda manual says not to use it but the way the market is going I may have no choice. For instance while driving through saskatchewan I had to do to 3 different gas stations untill I found one with no ethanol.
Shell Vpower91 doesn't have ethanol (at least in Ontario)
I think that the manual states a limit for ethanol content. You could call the gas co as well because the signs say may contain up to xx%

yea, i used to use sunoco 93, untill i saw a sticker on the pump that said gas contains 10% ethanol.
i switched over to shell v-power 93, it has no ethanol, about 2-3 monthes ago, i saw about 30 more miles a tank!
and i feel more power, but im sure thats the mind playing with me.

hi I just read up on all the similar threads on my original question about ethanol use. Lots of good info in there! I was concerned about eating out the seals but as the manual says up to 10 pecent is okay. A mazda mechanic told me not to worry unless it is fuel like Brazil makes. Enviromentaly it isn't any better than high octane gas
