i actually spoke to the manager and specifically requuested for a 20B instead of the lame 13b

 

New engine at 49500 miles? not bad.

 

Im happy that you got a new engine, but statements like these concern me. Arent rotories suppose to last longer than 50k miles? I always thought it was more like 200k miles.

 

How many people are going to post that their cars are still running? The initial tunes of the 8 did not run the engine properly. I'm sure if you checked enough Bentley's, you'd find one that loses it's first engine early. Compared to other car forums, I don't really see a lot of blown engine threads here.

 

i have also a new one (engine)totaly free-> in warranty...i had 100.000km (in europe) dont know how many miles it is..bit its many. in 3 years.

Don't say that, man! Haven't you read the "Wish Gone Bad" thread in the lounge? If you say you want a new engine, you'll get it......three times in the course of a year.....keeping the 8 tied up at the dealer for the entire summer....

Thats what my insurance company says too. But I aint complaining.

 

great man!, normally the dealer uses the engine replacement as their last resort, but damn you're uber lucky!
