Looking for feedback from the Jax folks.

I think we should have definite scheduled monthly meetings to start with. I suggest a mid-month Thursday, since most folks can free up a Thursday night without too much drama. After we get used to meetings, we can add more meetings. Not sure we'll ever do a true weekly meet like our Tampa brethren, but if we get enough interest and participation, why not?

So, I suggest we start on June 14th, and I will scout a location somewhere near 95 and JTB (reasonably centralized). Unless I hear otherwise, lets get together then.

If you have a suggestion for a better day of week or day of month, lets discuss here.

I'll get back on this thread in a couple days with a location.

Keep me posted. I think the Bucanneer region started meeting on Thursday as well. Are you going to Reynolds?

 

We have met in Dave and Busters parking lot before. Large lot. As long as we don't have a ton of people show up, shouldn't be a big deal.

Tim is right, the Bucanneer Region Solo2 monthly meeting is that date/time. So, I would suggest we change the date to avoid a conflict.

Look for the Winning Blue in the back parking area. We can all go in and grab a beverage or appetizers.

And, yes, I will be at the autocross on the 27th. Pretty much healed up from the surgery. Probably run the street settings on the shocks, since I'm not supposed to stress or strain for a few weeks, and changing the settings on the rear Koni's is a real bear. Doesn't take long, just a little too involved.

While I don't own a rx8 I have access to one, but I'd most certainly love to meet up with you guys and check your rides out. I own a '07 Mazdaspeed3, just put 3800 on the odo.

4 of us met about a month ago. We talked about doing it again, but that is the last I heard. I will head one up in the near future.

A group of Mazdas meet up occassionally all over JAX, Last big meet was at the Hooters in Orange Park, had a bunch of speed3's 2 regular 3s, a p5 and a ms6.

I know they're not rx8's but we are all fans of mazdas so it would be cool if you guys would love to join us. Give mazda a bigger rep in the J-ville area.

P.S. RX8TOM, I drove by a yellow rx8 with wheels last night on 9A, gave him a rev to say hi. Would that be you perchance?
