hello everyone,
just joined this site today itself...
been in a mad search for this problem that seems to be haunting me for a while.
i have the cel for water pump thats been on for a while..like a few weeks...
i have a 2004 Rx8 bought from japan.....and 22,000 kms on the clock...
currrenly i see no water or coolant dripping from the underssurface of the car...other from this cel there is nothing wrong with the car....its been a real good ride...
hope someone can help.

What is the CEL #? Is it a light on the dash? What's it look like? Please enter your LOCATION under your ID.

 

If your pump is dead, your engine should've overheat already, but you dont sound like your car is overheating.

I have a feeling he mean the coolant light is on, which happen sometimes, just add some and thats it.

Post your CEL code if possible.

hi,im gonna check the coolant level and if less will definitely add some.hopefully this should solve this problem.
its the light on the dash thats supposed to mean water pump thats always on.
ohh and by the way im from mauritius.
