Its RF... but it connects directly to your antenna. Does it sound good? Still prone to static or anything?

I want to hook up my iPod directly, but everything seems to require a stereo software upgrade or something. I've got an 04.

I have one installed on my wife's Endeavor. It's a FMM100A by Audiovox. It works pretty good, but you have to install a switch to switch it on and off seperately or it hurts your FM reception. And even when you have it switched off it can made weak stations come in more fuzzy.

Other than that it works decently. You'd be much better off upgrading your stereo and getting something else though. My wife's Endeavor didn't have any other options.

I would definately spend the money on a direct cable link, much better sound quality.
