Hello guys and gals!


Im looking to get a mazdaspeed rear in the near future but I wanted to do something different rather than just paint it gunmetal grey.


Im going for a red/black theme on my car so its a given that the sides are gonna have a black accent lip on the bottom.


Now the rear is going to pose some questions.


Several variants come to mind... (see below)


i could also do it vice-versa

or should i just be boring and go all black, all red or *shudder* gunmetal

IMO it depends where there is a line to mask.
it seems clear to change the colour around the exhausts. if this same lip line continues across the bumper, joining the left and right sides, then option 2 would work. if they don't and there is more continuity between the centre section and the original panel work, I'd go with option 1.

 

it comes painted gunmetal btw. id vote leave it like that

any opinions anyone?

 

2nd pic, IMO i think the "red" part that u circle paint as black, and the "black" part that u circle paint as red.

 

So the diffuser black and everything else red?
