rx8 hfc with ms dual exhaust?

Talking rx8 hfc with ms dual exhaust?

anyone running the high flow cat from rx8store.net with the mazdaspeed exhaust? did the hfc make the ms exhaust alot louder or just added a hum or something? i heard the hfc is just as loud as a midpipe not sur if thats true are not(i dont think so)

i searched but didnt get a answer for my specific question

I'm curious about this too... have the MS Dual but no highflo cat yet.

Anytime you reduce the restriction on your exhaust, its going to be louder.

It will get quite a bit louder. Not super loud like with a midpipe, but you'll be heard at least a city block away.

This thread has my sound clip and someone else's (posts 53 and 54). That should answer your question. If it doesn't I can tell you it's pretty damn loud WOT and from a take off.

it sounds pretty good, cant wait to get it in and install.. thanks for ur opinion. anyone else have a opinion on how it sounded or increase it did for u?

i have the MS Dual can catback. It sounds GREAT with stock CAT. I loved it so much.

Now I have the rx8store CATLESS Midpipe, and now it is way WAY to LOUD.

When driving regularly it sets car alarms off
when passing some one and hitting the gas, it sounds like a nascar
when under a tunnel and hitting the gas, everyone in a 5 block area bleed out there a$$ because they were indeed just A$$ Raped.

dont get catless midpipe W/O resonator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea see i was going to get a midpipe like u did but decided to jsut get a hfc cause its legal

but was just wondering if it makes the car alot louder

well i just installed the high flow cat and its great, love it . this how loud it should be with just the new exhaust. i couldnt imagine how loud a midpipe would be
