Broken Shift ****

The plastic top of my stock shift **** has become loose from the leather part. Has anyone ever take one apart or know how to fix it?

Problem with gluing it is that the silver part stays down, but then the black part sticks up (as in the photo). I guess I don't know if it's supposed to do that or not. I assume it's supposed to be flush?

Then it's time bro...let it go.

You can get another OEM, but they run near $200 new. Look in the for sale forums, they are about $20-80 used on here. Alot of people switch to the Voodoo Magnum. Check it out: http://www.thompson-automotive.com/voodoo.html

The piano black and pearl look nice. I've seen some people's pics and they both match the interior well. May get hot/cold though...

if its like the illuminated *****, the center piece with the shift pattern will pry out and the silver trim ring screws into the **** underneath it

Nice work rOtor! The top is glued, the silver piece has a screw. I'll screw it back down and re-glue.
