Has anyone done any of the autocross events with the boston chapter of the bmw club? I'm interested in signing up for them but I'm a little confused. Do I need to take the Advanced Driver Skills followed by the Driving School before signing for an Auto-X event? That seems like the best way to go anyway as I've never been on a track.

i just did my first autocross with them last sunday. i've never done the driver skills school or anything. I just joined (anual membership) and then registered. (40 bucks for membership, 35 to register for a particular event) it was a blast.

i'm not sure about the track events. my friend is on the board, i'll ask him and then post back.

ps: don't talk to the red and grey rx7's they're snobby.
