Wheel Fitment Question 19'' with +25mm

I'm not lowered and don't plan on being lowered so I'm wondering if it would still be safe to run the following:

19x8.5 F
19x9.5 R
+25 offset

Am I just NuTz?! What tires should I go with?

I've bee searching the threads for a long time and I have yet to see this type of combo. Just wanted to know if it would work.

What I'd really like is a Sticky Thread with all the possible wheel and tire combos. If any one could direct me to such a thread I'd appreciate it.

I think 35mm is as small an offset as you can go on 8.5front and 9.5rear and even then you'd need a 255 tire in the rear in order to not have to roll your fender. You can use up to a 275 if you roll your fender. Anything under 35mm with a 9.5 width will make your rim stick out from the car and it wouldnt look good. mine is exact with the side of the car and its a 35mm you would be 1 full cm sticking out past the fender....not pretty. You could use a 8.5 rear with 25mm offset and it would be ok. Hope this helps...

Chris thanks for the tech.

So what are you running right now with the tire specs too please. I'd like to be flush and sitting pretty too.

You can go even more aggressive than 35mm in the front on 245/35 and be okay. I'm running +34mm, with add'l room. Some members are in the upper 20s with no issues. I'm not sure about +25 though. You will definitely have issues in the rears with +25 without fender mods.

I am running 8.5" front with 225-45 and 9.5" rear with 275-35 and I it would rub at the rear when taking dips on the highway. I rolled the fenders and it works perfect. It wouldnt rub with a 255-40 on the same 9.5" rim though and look just as good.

What you say is very true but you cant just speak of offset and tire size. It has a lot to do with the rim width as well because the same size tire will stick out more on a wider rim. If the front rims are 7.5 or 8" wide then you could get away with a mid 20 offset but if the wheel is 8.5-9" then you cant without having it stick out. I 35mm on 8.5 rims and I can tell that its already at the maximum width it could be at(otherwise it would look like a bigfoot with the tires stiking out the side) unless you go with agressive camber or something like that which isnt too street friendly.

We're talking 8.5 width front and 9.5 width rear. I can't speak for your fitment, but I'm running 19x8.5" wide front on 245/35, lowered on Tein S-Tech, and I know I can run a few more mm out and be perfectly fine and still be flush to the wheel well.

Check out the Rays Wheels thread, and you'll find a variety off more aggressive offset with no issues and are flush to the wheel well.

In comparison to the OEM rims (18" x 8" +50) and tyres (225/40/18) a 19" x 8.5" +25 will have 19mm nore clearance on the inside of the wheel and will stick out 31mm closer to the lip.

A 19 x 9.5" + 25 rim (in comparison to OEM again) will have 6mm more inner clearance and will stick out 44mm closer to the lip.

Looking at places like http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp help get an idea of it works, but remember that when keeping the same size rim width, a smaller positive offset means less room between the rim and the lip.
