Went for a drive... took some pics.

Went out today with my friend today and took some shots. A few are HDR, you can probably tell as my taste is to make it stand out :D For better or worse. Anyhoo i hope you enjoy looking.

Thanks for looking! The day ended early for the m3 as it got a flat. You can see it in the last pic. Sad.

The third pic is one of the best pictures I have seen. I love the way it looks. I am not into photography, so I don't know cameras or terms...but those look really good.

What is HDR?

Hi Aero, a search on google will give you more information then I'll ever be able to, but HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. Meaning you take more then one exposure and combine them to create a photograph where in theory everything is exposed properly.

Wow, just wow.

I'd pay for a printed version of #2 and #3 stitched together.

Great job!

Pic #1 - Consider bumping the contrast of just the kar, just a bit. Otherwise, Great shot. It's VERY tricky to shoot in front of trees w/o it looking like limbs growing out of the subject. That's a well-executed photo

Pic #2 - Did you bump the yellow lines? I would have removed the power lines, and 'burn-tinted' the windows of the kar. More contrast, too. :D

Pic #3 - Clone the power-pole against the rock wall - remove the powerlines. Generally, when I see pics of the subject of a photo pointing away from the center of the photo, the photo can feel lopsided...or just sorta weird. Know what I mean?

Pic #4 - Generally like it - there's wood coming out of the top - cover that w/ greenery and it'd be fine. More contrast, and "burn-tint" the winders.

Pic #5 - I LOVE the scale - seeing the mailboxes looking HUGER than the Kar is NEAT! The sheds and stuff though...distracting for me. Pretty F'ing inconsiderate of him to get a flat there.

Great job, brother

Hey DMP, show me what you mean to burn tint the windows... i like the idea, but have no idea what you speak of

Also the finished version (high res) of the shot above doesn't contain the power poles... but the internet gets the version with the poles cuz i'm lazy.

I'll try your other suggestions bumping the contrast more made some of the pics a little too contrasty for my taste, but i'll re examine. Thanks

Here's it done on my car - I'm not 'great' at it yet...:

It's done to keep distractions from being 'inside' the car windows.

Indeed. And perhaps a little low-pressure black 'ink'.
