(GTA) Anyone know a place that can recondition kerbed wheels?
Hey,
Summer tires and rims are back on today
My winters (18" OEMs) made the acquaintance of a kerb, and are now slightly kerbed on the front left.
I'd like to get this fixed now that they are not on the car anymore.
Does anyone know anywhere in the GTA where this can be fixed?
I searched the forum but found nothing.
This place in Ottawa does it: http://www.alloywheelrepair.ca/
Bit far to go though
Thanks.

GoesLikeStink,
Sorry my friend. I think it's equal distance from T.O.... lol
That is quite the scratch! But that's nothing compared to the damage I inflicted on the Mazda6 wheel I had.
So I know Carcone's can clean that puppy up without a problem.
When I took my wheel in it cost me $110 to fix it.
Couldn't tell it was curbed at all. And I had a much deeper gash than the small stuff you posted up.
Consider them if you want to fix that rim.

Lates,
I don't see why not. Those guys end up refinishing the wheels in whatever finish you like.
The main point is getting rid of the curb rash.
Now that I remember, he did ask me if I wanted a different paint finish or if the OEM finish was good enough. I told him the OEM finish is more than enough.

The best place to get your wheels fix is "The Wheel Fix". There website is http://wheelfix.com ... they have the best machine out there to fixed curbed wheels and the best thing is they pickup and drop off your wheel and are very competitive with cost. Give Teresa a call and schedule a pickup and free estimate. I've used them a few times and they are quick (3-4 days) and the quality is top notch. The only downside is getting a hold of them to get the pickup as they only have one driver
