MAZDA F&^(ING DID IT AGAIN!!!

Well this is only the second time my car has had to get towed to the dealer in the last 5 months for flooding......and the second time they have screwed my car up.....the first time i got my car back and drove it for ...I don't know two minutes and noticed that they had scratched the door panel on my passanger door(the side of the car no one sits on)....the door panels I just paid 1800.00 dollars for body work and custom paint on....(pic Below)....by the wayt figured I would be a nice guy since i dont want to complain and it is the only dealership in this area for my mazda and they own every other dealership in town that I could take it to if I decided to....

then this week it happens again.....I happened to have ordered new lug nuts for my 19" painted black wheels.....last night I went to replace them after picking my car back up from the dealership for flooding again(<- important)...i was able to get all the wheels lugs off except the front left wheel.....which happens to be the only wheel on the car that has paint missing from around every hole of every lug....(mother GFLUTFLJKG)....so to make sure i wasnt being a naysayer i called a mazda dealer in another state to ask if they have to remove any of the wheels to replace plugs which my dealer said they did....and of caourse he said we only have to remove the fron t left wheel.......

When will we be able to buy a 35,000.00 car and then get 35,000 service people at the dealerships....I cant even get the oil changed at my dealer because they dont have a lift that even a stock rx-8 can get on....I have to got to the honda dealership and pay the 35.00 where as I am supposed to be getting free oil changes for life....

This sucks.....

these pics dont show the damage but give you an idea of the stuff they screwed up...

I blame that on a bad dealership, not Mazda. Granted that Mazda should be more strict on the dealerships out there but you cannot have a biased outlook like that. There a tons of Mazda dealerships around me and I can't stand most of them, so I have to try hard not to see it that way.

yep, stealerships are like a roll of the dice, looks like you got snake eyes on that one. Are there any other Mazda places you can take it in your area? Even if it's farther away it's probably worth the extra miles just to avoid the pita.

well, i guess when i say mazda i was speaking of the mazda local dealer...but it is true that they could be more strict about the going ons of the local dealers....yeah I spoke with the service manager this morning....he said to bring it by....so we will see what they are willing to do....

thanks

and u dont NEED to take off the wheel to change the plugs, its just easier, and if i saw a wheel like that on an rx8 id kno the owner was **** and i would just turn the wheel and not bother taking them off

I do as much of my own work as possible, even if it means I have to crank the car up with a bottle jack, keep it up with jackstands, and crawl underneath in a very claustrophobic (sp?) space in Pepboys' parking lot.

well....my point exactly....he....just like the people at mazda could have done a much better job of communicating with the customer....

A simple my bad would have been enough but nothing.....come on.....

I worked at circuit Sh*ty for over 5 years in the car stereo department.... i know what it is like to work on other peoples cars for a living....accidents happen ....they have happened to me.....but i never had anybody tell me....I wish you wouldnt have told me that you did that...I would have rather found out two weeks from now and not be able to blame anyone...

point is....honesty is the best policy and we should be able to put money into our cars and have MAZDA of everyone respect that we love the car and love customizing it....AND TAKE CAR OF OUR CARS.....

THAT IS IT...PEACE....NO HARM MEANT.....JUST TELLING MY STORY...

FROM NOW ON.....READER ONLY...PEACE

Don't get me wrong by my post. I know you're angry and all but seriously, is caps needed? Your story can be heard but at least use proper grammar while telling your story and don't use all CAPS. I know when I see someone posting in all caps and/or no punctuation/grammar, I stop reading the post because it's not worth it for me to decipher.

btw from my insight (my family owns a mazda dealership) mazda dealerships seem to be really hit or miss. you either get spectacular service or they are just down in the dump BAD. personally they are liable for any damages they do to your car. and THEY NEED A FREAKIN LIFT TO LIFT THE CARS THEY SELL. i would call and talk to the general manager. thats unbeliveable they turn service customers away because they dont have the right tools to work on something they sell.
