Hi All,

If anybody is heading south to DGRR via I-81 through VA on Friday, we will be meeting in Stanton at Exit 222. There is a Crackerbarrel there where you can join us for breakfast if you like. We will be arriving ~8am Friday Morning and plan to leave at 9:30am.

I may not do breakfast, depends on whether I go on Thursday night to Stanton and motel it or leave here Friday morning, I'm not really a morning person... but I'll see you there.

Wow Carbon you guys are leaving early! I don't blame you, I am excited. :D That's too bad because I am going to be in your area Thru night. I was hoping that I could meet up with the DC area. Who do you have to caravan with you? If you know anyone that is leaving later that want to caravan with me (to meet up with Foxy Roxy) diret them to this forum.

I am 'vanning with a my friend (in his new CX-7 as it turns out,) his girl and my wife. My friend and my wife don't get the whole caravan thing and just want to motor. I have to respect that as much as I can.

If I remember you are coming up the beltway to 66? You are leaving around 5, too, correct? (Maybe I am confusing folks) Maybe we could meet somewhere around early exits of 66?

 

It seems I am taking 495 to 267 to meet Foxy Roxy at 6am. Then from there we are heading to the Cracker Barrel at exit 222 off I-81.

I should be leaving around 5 am since it takes about an hour to get to Leesburg from Waldorf.

Let's pray to the gas gods that the gas prices will go down this week. Traveling 613 miles round trip is going to take about a good $200 bucks in just gas!

 

Hey Jessica, don't forget those endless runs up and down the Dragon .... then up and down again .... then again, and again! That's another $80!

Not to bring an end to things too quickly, but I'll catch a ride back home with you guys for a while on Sunday.
