Color of Ext/Int?

 

Black exterior with Black/Taupe leather interior.

 

Good luck selling that one, as it's the worst color combination I've seen in a car ever.

It's not TOO bad of a colour, the tit with taupe is better in my opinion, the black with red is KILLER!

 

I am waiting for Mazda Canada to announce their new allocation numbers, features and options.

There is a mild rumour that the next allocation for Canada will be for 3000 units and all the colour options in the USA will be available for us.

I am waiting to order to see if that happens, and if it does I'm getting a GT with Black ext. and Black/Red leather and a personalized plate that says DIABLO :D

 

The allocation for November has been set. I am not sure how many were allocated in total, but the colors available were the same as previously available for Canadian orders. Perhaps at some point in the future they will change, but I have not heard anything from Mazda Canada yet.

 

I believe that 3,000 units for Canada would be a very optimistic target for 2004, remember that they only had 700 units coming in this year. IMHO if they went with the 3,000 units MazCan would have to have fire sales to get rid of them all and that is defiantly not in their best interest.

 

I spoke to the sales manager at my trusty dealership. There are no numbers allocated for Canada. The plan is to keep units moving to the dealerships. Basically, when a dealer sells one, another one will takes its place.

There will be no colour changes until the 2005 model year. ( Was hoping for a black/black-red GT) guess not.

The models being delivered in the spring will be 2004 models and the 2005's will show up in the fall.

And there is also a nice Red GT, no slider and no nav waiting at Destination Mazda, Winnipeg. The original person who ordered it, could not get the financing and got his deposit back. - LOOSER-

If you want a black 8 in Canada, that's what you're getting. There are no other options (as you probably know).

There's nothing wrong with that color combo IMO... unless it's all in your imagination. Once you sit in it, it looks great.
