Hey guys. Every write I have seen for this installation of this bluetooth system has been with the BOSE system. I have a stock model with no BOSE system and was wondering if anyone had installed this on their stock version and was successful. This look like a good product and there are some great write-ups in the DIY section that make me want to install this in my car.

Well so far no one has installed one on the exterior...

 

I believe there is a company that sells the kit which is plug and play. I remember seeing one with the base stereo unit.

There is a DIY on the Bluetooth. Try asking the originator of the thread. I can't seem to remember the name of the vendor.

 

I installed Parrot 3100 two years ago. You can buy harness which is plug & play. I ordered one from UK. Price was quite steep then - 35 pounds (for harness only). Probably you can find one cheaper now.

 

Quick Connect Products have harnesses for our RX8 --- Bose and non-Bose systems.
Their QCMzf-1 for the non-Bose Mazda is $56.95 (http://www.parrotkits.com/donotcut.html) and works in conjunction with the harness that Parrot supplies. It should work just fine.
