im a 17 year old junior in high school. in my physics class, we were told to pick a subject and discuss the physics involved. i chose the rotary engine. ive educated myself a lot on the subject. my partner and i are doing a video, as opposed to a paper or powerpoint. i was thinking it would be great to get a ton of 8's in the video, instead of 3. it would also make a great photo-opp and give me a chance to meet some other 8 owners around here. i dont know when or where yet, but i just want to see how many people are open to helping out. thanks guys

EDIT: forgot to mention that i live in the Lewisville/ Flower Mound area.

4/28/07 - i wont have a car, its at the dealer for warranty repairs and TSB's. but we are still able to shoot for the video. time has changed to 4:00. i hope thats not a problem. I know its late notice, but the reason for the change is we were granted permission from the head band director and an assistant principle to use the band tower, which will be very cool as we can get a great birds eye shot of the cars. again, if there is a problem, please let me know. thanks

4/29/07 - we will be there at 2:00 to shoot whoever can/didnt get the 4:00 memo. then at 4, whoever wants to stay, or shows up then we will shoot from the tower. sorry for all the confusion. hopefully the end product will be worth it

Just a thought, your video may work for you better if you got a variety of rotary cars in it. To show the rotary engine has a history and some refinement with the latest model.

ok, sorry for the delay guys. the project isnt due until may 14, and im sure most of you know how procrastination with long-term projects is, lol. as of now, next sunday would be the best day for us to get together and shoot for our video. thanks a ton for your help guys, like i said before, the video will be mucho better with more than 2 or 3 8's in it.

I have an 8 and live in Lewisville, I can help just PM me the details. Also I have a pretty decent camera setup

 

location location location. we decided to do this at the school, easiest to find. big empty parking lot, lots of room. the address of the school 5707 morriss rd, flower mound, 75028. there a huge parking lot in back of the school. look for the marching band semi trailer, and pull into that one. i should at least be there. time=2ish. if that doesnt work for anyone let me know and we'l see if we can shift it around, i have the whole day free.

 

Dont have anything planned for Sunday, so, as of now i hope to make it, LOL. Always down to see more 8's, plus get to fly on the highway on the way. Peace
