Gram Lights T57-RC SL

So, Ive decided to get a set of Gram Lights T57-RC SL for my 07 RX8. (once I get back from Vacation at the end of this month) Its BB & Im going to get Bright Silver. Now, unfortunatly Im going to be spending quite a bit on these. Going through Tire Rack puts me at just under 2K for just the wheels. I really want a nice performing tire that will grip the road, but wont absolutly break the bank. Anyone have any good suggestions on a brand & sizes?

Thanks in advance.

What size did you get. Cheap but good are Yokohama ES-100's or Eagle F1's GS-D3. Right now tire rack has S-03's on sale, if you are running 18's, their 245/40 are a good price. But either this thread will get a lot of post, or they will tell you to SEARCH!

Whatever happens, it at least looks like you'll have an easier time picking tires than what I'm going through.

What size wheels did you get? What are your priorities and what is upir definition when it comes to "nice performing?" Finally, how do you plan to use the tire?

245/40-18 is a good size for 8.5 inch wide tires. 245s are a better fit for 8.5s than 8 inch wide tires in my opinion.

lazi will get you a great price!

kumho ecsta spt in 245/40 would be a perfect tire for your purposes. It handles great and it won't break the bank
