what the hell do they drive, a lightweight high-hp car with no recalls? I don't think so.

BTW; the RX-8 is one of the lighter cars on the market today at under 3,000 lbs, and is in the top 5 lightest 4-doors.

 

tell them atleast you can get your groceries in style! lol 4-dr sedan all the way!

It's one of the lightest 4-seat RWD cars around, one of the cheapest RWDs around, and the recalls haven't affected many owners at all. It's quarter mile isn't great but it's the thrill of the Mazda handling and one of a kind rotary, along with some practicality.

Cheers to them if all they care about is how soon they hit 60. What cars do they have anyway?

 

Are this friends of your or what? If they are you need to get yourself some new friends . Mature ones would be a good start. I don't any body on the street is going to come up to you and say anything.

On a side note, most of the top secret UAVs runs on the rotary engine. The Goldern Eye 100 is a prime example.

 

I get this crap all the time from teenagers. No torque, no hp blah blah blah. I just ignore them and go about my business. Or I just say straights are for kids who have no talent as drivers. I know not much of a comeback but it does get them thinking.
