I heard they are actually bringing the AE86 back. i dont know details about it cause i lost the link. but toyota really saying that. and honestly as much as i love the Rx8 if toyota decides to release the Supra or next sports car. Im in.

Toyota will NEVER bring back the supra OR the AE86.
First of all, Toyota will never use a name after it is retired ( in U.S. AND Japan ) , thus the supra is out.
second, AE86 was a chassis designation. since the new car toyota is testing the market for will obviously be a different platform, it will not have ae86 in the VIN.

 

Well, if the Corolla makes it with 2 doors, I will say is a AE86 reborn.

my bf had 89 MR2 with them 4AG-E in 'em, and sounded sooo good when tach reached past 7000RPM. Bring back alot of memories when i hear those 4AG-E screaming...
