I can't comment on compatibility w/ your particular drop, but on stock springs, many guys have gotten as much as 275s w/ negligible rubbing issues. you have a little less offset than stock, so maybe I wouldn't go overboard. for best/easy fit, 255/40(or35)/18 would be right in your wheelhouse.

has anyone ordered from tirerack.com or discounttire.com? how long does it take them to get it to you? or is there a better website out there?

I have ordered from both; no problems at all; UPS delivers in 3-4 days (assuming tires are in-stock). just FYI, discount tire direct is afiliated with the America's Tire/Discount Tire chain stores. so if there's one near you, you can ask them to order anything from their discounttiredirect. that way you do't have to schlep the tires from your house to the store for mounting.

if you go to a known shop(goodyear mavis etc) they will get it from their distributor within a few hours if they dont have them in stock.

p.s. if you've installed firm lowering springs, but are on stock shocks, IMO that's not an ideal performance setup. your shocks may be compressed and they won't last too long that way. further, the shocks are not very agressive to begin with, even w/ the stock springs. so you might wanna look at aftermarket sport shocks to help work better w/ your springs, and keep the suspension off of the bump stops.
