18" or 19"?

Hi everyone. I'm planning on buying new rims for my 04 rx-8. I've decided to go with TSW Splitz and Falken-452 tires. Is there a big difference in drivability and so on between 18" and 19"? I think i'll go with 245/40 on the 18" and 255/35/ on 19". Heres a pic of the rims http://www.felgimport.no/inc/getprod...TSW/splitz.jpg . Any comments?

the 19's will definitely be a bit rougher ride due to the loss of tire sidewall but IMO the 8 was made for 19's in a style sense

you'll get a split of opinion on 18's vs 19's, add additional opinions if you then throw in the debate of whether to go staggered or not. Performance wise, you be better off to keep 18's due to weight and gearing....

if you get the 18's, go for a 245/45 tire. I have 245/40 mounted and they look kinda small
