Hey guys,

I was going through some old posts on this site and I noticed some interior pics of cars that had their lights on. The steering mounted radio and cruise controls were lit up on all of the pictures. Does anyone know if Mazda has stopped doing that feature in the new 2007 models. Mine don't light up when I turn on the lights is this normal? Thanks.

 

mine have always lit up (2004) ... i cant see that this would be something they would change.

'05 here, mine light up. Sounds like a trip to the dealership is in order...

 

Try adjusting the dimmer for the interior gauges on the left side of the steering wheel.

I just noticed that your profile says your in Canada. The 8's in Canada have a diferent wiring schematic than the US models. Most likely, it's just different for you friendly neighbors up north.
