The club has organized them in the past however participation varies.... I can put out a call to all club members and see if there is any interest. Typically we can get 2-3 pulls for about 50 bucks.
Looking forward to meeting you guys out, that and HOPEFULLY Gabby's MIGHT redeem houston BBQ for me! I've yet to have good BBQ here!! How many cars are we expecting out Doc?

Resturants are never the place to find good BBQ..... you need some home cookin'.
It's tough to estimate with the weather.. I havent gotten many direct responses, but the overall chatter about the meeting has been solid. I'd estimate at least 20 cars or more if everyone who says they are coming actually comes.
I will send out another email for those members who signed up on the local forum ( at www.houstonrx8club.com ) tonight addressing the weather. It was supposed to rain today and all I saw was about 20 seconds of sprinkle.

It was great seeing everyone tonight at the meeting, all 34 of you!!!
I would like to thank those who brought out their toys, both new and old as well as those individuals who gave their effort to help some of those other owners in need.
Special thanks also goes to Mark J. who is not only an enthusiast but also a Mazda representative, who hooked up the club members in attendance with Grand Prix passes!
Please make sure you read the Spring Scenic Drive thread and vote as final details will be coming soon.
Can't wait to see you guys (and gals) at the May meeting, thanks for all the great ideas for future events.
