2007 University of Maryland Spring Meet

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (http://www.marthastable.org).

I can't do that since I'll already be there setting up, but it would be great to see a bunch of 8's pull up. Usually everyone will meet at a supermarket or something nearby, then roll in when everyone's together.

What time does the event end? We don't get out of church until 2PM and then we would be coming from Woodbridge, VA.

I'd like to go if the event will last long enough to make it worth coming up.

 

It goes until after dark...basically people leave when we run out of food, and we're going to have a LOT of food this year.

Dare I ask what happened?

 

Back on halloween I was getting off 695 and bumped into a civic on an exit. I thought they had pulld out into traffic, but I was wrong. There's a small dent in the corner of my front bumper (I haven't bothered fixing it because I'm just going to get a body kit eventually)

Then on 695 a few weeks ago a rock chipped my windshield and the sudden change in the weather made it spread. But that should be fixed in the next couple weeks

 

I'll be there! My boyfriend's dad might bring his 8, too! Boyfriend is bringing 1992 Taurus SHO

Cool, I believe that my wife and I will be there. I've only had the 8 about 3 weeks and I'm anxious to see and hear some of the mods that folks have done!

That sucks, I had a similar insident with my prior car(95' GSX Eclipse). On ramp lady in front in a SUV roled from stop, I turned around to check traffic for merge. started rolling to enter traffic turned around, and the SUV had stopped and never gone. BOOM! messed my front up but felt dumb more than anything else.

I will be coming though. and I may be showing up with something special under the bonnet by then ...MAYBE... It may be too early though.

Things are looking good! We've had lots of responses on all sorts of forums and on facebook, etc. Rx7club is about the only one I've seen with no responses though...what's up with that?

 

I'll see what i can do.. Imma see if Bestbuy would like to set up a booth or something.. i just have to talk to my managers today about it..

 

Cool. If they'd like to have a booth, send an email to collegeparktuning@gmail.com about it. Our officers approve any possible vendors, and it helps us organize the event better. I'm sure Best Buy would be fine due to sheer name recognition.

What sort of thing did you have in mind for the booth? Car audio?
