I am thinking about selling my car. trying to guage intrest right this moment.

ok here is the deal. I have decided after weeks of thinking about it, As much as I hate to leave the rotary community, it is time for me to move on to another car. (even though I will always be a rotor head.)

I am going to list the car for sell as it sits, the car is not going to be available for sell until the 26th due to me needing the car do to an autocross on the 25th. If the car does not sell on the 26th, I will begin returning the car to stock so that I can sell it in stock form, and sell the aftermarket parts on the side.

as it sits now with all the parts and the extra race tires I am asking $25,000. (see the bottom for other selling prices and options)

here is what you get:

An 04 with only 17k miles on it, (it has 16,6xx now, but by the 26th you can expect it to have 17,000 miles.) This car has been well taken care of as you can tell from the pictures below. it usually only gets driven a few days a month as it is not the daily driver for me. The car has the sport package, so it has the Traction control, fog lights, and all that fun stuff. It also has Navigation.

The car (as you can tell) has been modified. I run it at the local auto cross track once a month as a BSP car. it does pretty good! the car can even be run in STU if you wish if you finish off the race tires and put street tires on.


here is a list of the aftermarket parts I have for the car:

K&N Typhoon intake (stock intake will be included on the side)

Unorthodox Racing pulleys (stock Pulleys will be included on the side)

ACT lightened flywheel (stock flywheel will be included on the side)

Koni Adjustable struts (stock struts will be included on the side)

Sprint springs (stock springs will be included on the side)

Racing Beat sway bars (stock Sway bars will be included on the side)

Axis Hiro 18x8 wheels with Kumho Ecsta SPT tires with 80% tread remaining for the street

Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 wheels with 285/30/18 Kumho Ecsta V710 race tires with 50% tread or so for the track

Axial Flow Short Shifter (stock shifter will be included on the side)

Cross drilled and slotted rotors (stock rotors will be included on the side)

MazdaSpeed rear wing

JDM clear front marker lights (stock lights will be included on the side)

Yellow interior dash kit from NYC dashes

AUX Mod MP3 player input for the stock radio

Fender strakes from RX8Strakes

Lots of other little nic nacs like the tinted windows with a rotor in the back window, chrome turn signal bulbs, hyper white interior lights, Hyper white fog lights, neon blue foot lights, and strobe lights for the foot wells also.... stuff like that.

The decals can stay if you like. they are carbon fiber outline with a metallic blue inside. I do decals on the side and wanted to do something different for seven stock, so I decided to put graphics on. I wound up liking them so much I kept them on (since October). they are easily removable, and can come off before you buy if you wish.

The car has been well taken care of, all oil changed have been made way before they need to be. currently running Amsoil synthetics. A lot of the stack parts are in like new condition.

as I said before, If the car does not sell on the 26th I will begin returning it to stock an I will be selling the car in stock form. and then selling the aftermarket parts. as you can tell there are thousands of dollars worth of parts on this car.



The car blue books for $21,300 so here are ways I will be selling this rare color only produced for one year with such low mileage RX-8

$25k the car as it sits with thousands of dollars worth of parts above.

$24k the car as it sits with all parts above minus the race wheels and tires.

22k a stock yellow RX-8 with only 17,000 miles on it. it MIGHT have the axis wheels on it, but I will be trying to get stock wheels and tires on it for the stock sell.

no. I was having problems with the stereo. the high AMP kept cutitng out. but the mids and highs have all been replaced. so it will come with those. but not the 2 amps or the subs.

of course if someone wants them I will include at no charge, (it all was $1,000 new) but I think there is something wrong with the amp for the highs... might need to be replaced.

let me see if I can find a picture of the stereo setup.....

Also jsut so everyone knows, the sponsor stuff on the doors are magnets and static cling that only gets put on for the auto cross days.

oh dang, well hopefully you won't but if you do...dibs! lol So you're going Evo huh? Are you going MR or what? Still gonna' race it and such?

 

I still have not made up my mind entirely yet. couple things going through my mind that may (and at this point most likley) cause me to keep the car. But IF I were to get rid of it, it would be a blue Evo ix and yeah I would still race it.

at this point I am just guaging intrest in the car, I will know soon if I want to go through with it. :/
