Hey everyone, just letting you know we set a date for a local meet. Initially I'm thinking we should meet in Monterey and then maybe take a run down the coast to Big Sur. If anyone has ideas suggestions/whatever please post it here.

lookingglas, I actually spotted your car on Alvarado on Friday night. Actually, my girlfriend pointed it out. Nice wheels.

I know of one other RX-8 owner, I haven't seen him on the forum in awhile. There are 3 or 4 RX-8s at DLI. My two good friends have 3's (one mazdaspeed 3). It's faster than mine :/

If you know the other car owners you should get them on the forum. Saturday ended up being a wash with everyone suddenly becoming unavailable. A drive down to Big Sur or Arroyo Seco would be fun though. If anyone else has roads they want to tackle sometime then get it out here and we'll set something up.

Also, in the line of what C&D suggested we could set up a meet to get dinner some night. Might be easier to swing so far as schedules go.

I saw a Red FD RX-7 being worked on in a house garage in South Salinas with a black RX-8 with some MS body pieces on the street. Anyone know who that is?

 

I saw them too, garage was open but I was in a hurry so I couldn't stop. I am guessing it was maybe N^Rider home after school or something. I think he has a black 8 with MS gear.

I live about 1/3 of a mile away from you. I just went by today again on the way to a friend's place in your neighborhood, although not in my 8. I figured that had to be you, cuz your 8 is MS with the stock rear and we had talked about that in PMs.

I live in E Salinas now (on the good side). My Fiancee is usually drives the car around town and to Hartnell College. Our RX8 was involved in a hit and run, luckily they olny damaged the yellow side marker.

I was on my way to work, driving on 68 towards mty when I spotted an SS and an NG coming back from mty. This was last Friday 23 or Saturday 24 around 630PM, anyone here?

 

Nope not me....I'm BB stock except the authentic MS rear end that I so want to get rid of.

Well I'm waiting to get my rear and all the appearance pkg parts before I really start moving on it. I need the front lip spoiler, but may just buy it new.

 

i drove by last night and the rear looks good.
