well those brackets you see are the factory bracket. on the passenger side, the panel next to the center console, just reach behind it and try to screw the satellite radio bracket on the hole. (by the way that hole is useless for us, its designed for european rx8s with passenger airbag off option)

 

Thats NICE!! I have the same one just mounted on the driver side right next to the AC controls (sort of where you keys dangle when the car is on) -- and no it doesn't get in the way of my legs because I don't use them.
