Testing the waters. Selling this for a friend.

2004 Mazda RX8, has most options (navigation, moonroof, etc).

Recently purchased this vehicle as a personal project car. He doesn't have time to work on it as there are a bunch of others he needs to finish. So wondering if there is any interest? Car needs the following (hood, bumper, radiator, condensor, LH headlight, windshield and airbags). Overall it is a simple fix and should only cost about $2500. The car does indeed run and drive.

Offering it for $12,900 (negotiable). It has a michigan salvage title and 24k miles. The car is located in a shop in Detroit.

I agree. I think parting it out is your best bet. I know I'd be in for a few thousand in parts!

I am wondering why does it have a salvage title? I am guessing the actual repair bill would still be much more than 25k. I would say you are looking at $3.5k to 4k to repair. Thats probably why it is a salvage. rled

 

Simple $2500 fix? I think I would have to buy more then just the airbags.

I'll offer $4500. Thats about what any salvage auction would bring.
