Snowtires on my 8

When I bought my 8 in November, I had 4 nice rims and snowtires installed by the dealer. Rims are RTX, tires are Dunlop Graspic DS-2. Cost me C$1,590.30 including taxes, installed and balanced. Although I won't drive my 8 much in winter, I did try it out in 6 inches of wet snow, and it handles VERY well indeed.
I am old enough (64) that I learned to drive in rear wheel vehicles: there was really no such thing as front wheel drive in Canada at the time. This 8 is better in the snow than most cars/trucks I have driven.

I use the Dunlop Wintersport M3, and it does very well in bad conditions. I did have to turn around once on a steep unplowed hill with 3-4 inches of sloppy snow. Other than that, I have had no problems and have been stuck driving in the worst of the storms a few times. They are also fun to drive on when the roads are dry, very grippy for a winter tire. I suspect the graspics are better in the snow/ice (may have even made it up that hill!), but probably give up a little more in dry performance.

No disrespect intended but I did a search for winter tires, titles only and recieved 5 pages, 169 results. Did we really need another winter tire thread?
