I missed my court date last week , I got the dates mixed up, I went the next day found out I won the spending ticket part (the cop didn't show up) but lost the driving without proof of insurance part. I had to pay $800, I was hoping you knew a way I can reopen the case. I was thinking doing a appeal, but since I missed the court date I am thinking I can't do that? This is in Santa Clara County any help is appreciated.

WOW 800 for no insurance. Check with the DA, they usually wave it if you show proof you had it at the time of the ticket.
