I just bought me a kicker SX10 sub and just wanted to know if that was a little to much for for the 8 to handle

 

the 8 could probably handle it, but i know for a fact you will fry the alternator if you hook up an amp that can power that sub. plus, that sub is for competition only, no warranty, and really sounds like ****. not for everyday listening. plus where are you gonna put it. the box is huge for that sub, something like 3 cuft.
