In the Oct. issue of Sportscar , SCCA, Solo II, has refused to consider re-classing the RX-8 from BS to STX, and specifically excluded it from STX. On the other hand, they are considering moving the S2000 to BSP! Maybe, we'll be a little more competitive then with decent tires. BTW, the Miata on page 45 is mine !!!

 

They are moving only the street prepared S2000 to BSP (downclassing it from ASP?)

The stock S2000 will remain in BS. There is a huge difference between stock and street prepared cars. There is no way a stock S2000 to run BSP (or ASP or CSP, etc) because it will be eaten alive
