Hey guys, I'm suprised I didn't know about this site sooner. I recently bought an 8 and got one of my buddys interested in getting one too, so here it goes. He has a GTI 1.8T, 5spd, Tornado Red, Sports Cloth Seats (Black Interior), 17' OEM Monte Carlos. The thing is pretty damn clean except for your average road wear, and I believe he has like 2 mini rice size dents somewhere on the car, I'll find out exactly where if you're interested. The interior of the car is mint, the driver side seat barely shows any wear as well. I've driven it a couple times and it pulls, shifts smooth, and gets pretty good gas mileage actually. It's a comfortable car with alot of room as well, the hatch alone has held my entire guitar setup from cab, head, guitar, and bag. A little more info I just got. It's a 2002 GTI 1.8T, It has just under 60k on it. Oil has been changed every 3k with 0-40w Mobil 1. Plenty of tread left on the tires. He says it should easily last way past 100k without anything major being needed and judging from the way he treats the car, I wouldnt doubt that. Thanks again.

I'm sure the GTI gets better gas mileage. I have a 2002.5 Jetta GLI VR6. Good luck with the sale. You have it on VWVortex too right?
