New Car for the Wife.

Well my wife is the proud owner of the first CX-9 in louisiana. Picked it up an hour ago or so and I must say it is pretty damn nice!
Very roomy, seating for 7, and 3.5 L V-6 got some Zoom-Zoom.

Cool Vin blanc......

Can you check for me (my wife is also looking CX7/CX9) -

Does the VIN # start with a "1" or with a "J"?

....that is, is it made in the USA (do you know where/what plant?)or Japan?

Cool, I didn't even know those were out yet. Also, the wheels look like the same ones from the Mazdaspeed3. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Vin is J as in japan. 18 inch alloy with Bridgestones.

They are supplying one per top dealer in each state I was told by the Sales Manager, that is why no one really knows about them yet.
Most should be the Touring ver. with most all the goodies.

So far with 140 miles on her, damn nice ride. I am 5'11'' and can stretch out nicely.

Accel is a little sluggish, but I haven't gave it the boot hard either. Handling is scary good for a big machine like this. Ride is taunt, but not rough, side to side transitions are snappy.

Daughter loves the 3rd row seat, has her own little area to chillout in.
