So I found a piece of my car.....

I installed my AEM CAI over a year ago and when I did so I ended up with an extra piece that should be in my engine bay. I was excited about putting my CAI in and didn't really care to reinstall the piece. Long story short....I just found it and have no clue where it goes.

Please help.

Your a guy and that piece proves it!
A motto me and friends say when fixing or installing something
"Your not a real man unless after taking something apart and putting it back together you have extra pieces!"
If its been awhile I dont think it's that important (I hope lol)

hah, yeah, but I still want it in. I wish I never found it, I wouldn't care about putting it back in.

I believe your piece is #5390 in the attached image from the parts manual. Match up the two "Z"s and you will see where it goes. Could be your CAI require the permanent removal of the piece.

Yeah, that part needs to be removed for the AEM or even the RB intake. Its the tray that the VFAD sit on.

Ah nice, I guess it'll go back in my stock parts closet.

Thanks,

Sasha
