Production Mazdaspeed 8 huh? I wonder if it will have any more under the hood?

 

I think from what i can understand the M'z tune is a FI tune. Will we finally see a super/turbo.charged RX-8?

edit: or not, the M'z tune MX-5 is listed under "concept",where as the RX-8 is already a (production model), so probably a C-Spec RX-8. I think we'll see a Mazdaseed MX-5 first.

I'd file RX-9 under Rumor Mill

 

It's listed as Mazda RX-8 Mazdaspeed M'z Tune instead of Mazdaspeed RX-8 M'z Tune. Was that intentional?

Below that is the Mazdaspeed 6 listed as Mazdaspeed Atenza.

Renesis_8, how did you come to the assumption that M'z Tune may be FI related?

The phrase that jumps out at me is "through modifications to raise comfort levels and driving feel." To me that says suspension and new seats, nothing about increased performance or power. Perhaps a production version along the lines of the Prodrive-tuned RX-8 in the UK?

the rear and sides are lifted from the blue " c-spec" body kit. no fender change tho and i dont get what they are doing in the front.

 

WTF? Why do they insist on not touching the engine!!!

 

the rx9 looks like something the white power ranger would drive, it does say mighty morphin.

i do like the c-spec body kit, def the front and sides.

 

Damn that yellow Mazdaspeed Axela, complete with yellow & black racing buckets, looks hot!

As for the RX-8 MS M'z Tune, according to the website http://www.rx-8.mazda.co.jp/mz_tune, for approx. $36K US one gets:
- Unique MS body areo parts
- MS lightweight flywheel
- MS exhaust
- MS brake pads
- Upgraded suspension bits
- Upgraded oil cooler
- A special tuned PCM

The door strakes and hood line remind me of the Crossfire!
