I'm also waiting for my NG. I've seen several NG 8s at the dealer and the color changes depending on the light. In bright sunlinght it definitely looks dark green, but the closer you get to it you start to see a blue tint and the mica flakes in the paint sparkle in a variety of colors. In the garage where they'd just finished preparing a car for delivery it looked like a very dark blue/black. It's a really neat color.

Here's mine.

 

I never see this color at the dealer or around town, is there great interest in this color. I wish I could see more. Other than white it is the rarest color.

 

I checked out a few Nordics this weekend. Are all you Wankel nuts glad you got the green? I've seen every color at this point (except that elusive white), and I'm torn between the HOT looking red/red or the subdued, classy green/chaparelle. I think my wallet will be happier if I get the green (a.k.a less attention... fewer tickets).

Do you get a lot of compliments on it?

Photos do not do this color justice. You really do have to see it in person to really appreciate it. During bright sunlight it certainly is a dark green. But as dusk approaches then it starts to look black. But there's a lot more metal flake in this color than any of the others, really looks sharp.

spasso, the pics with the flakes visible is very good- I haven't managed to catch them in mine yet.

 

Ok, got more pictures up- they're here . They're supposed to be pictures of our weekend trip to Sylva, NC, but instead almost every picture is of my car- we even Zaino'd it while we were there.

the Nordic Green is a great color. Anywhere from Teal, to black, to green are the comments I get from it.
