I noticed you live in Houston. It might be worth the drive out here (especially if you have friends out here) to get one. Many of the dealers here have a pretty good selection and will sell for about $1k under MSRP. I bought mine from World Car in New Braunfels (just north of SA) and a guy I talked to bought his from North Park. World Car has all three of those colors in stock. If you're serious, contact Jim Gise and tell him Dave sent you... I would think he would give you the same deal.

Hey a fellow San Antonian!! Congrats, hope to see you running around town. What part of town do you live/work in? What dealer did you use? My order is with North Park, they've been great!

 

I actually live in Schertz (up by Randolph) and work on Kelly USA. I bought mine from Jim Gise @ World Car in New Braunfels. I bet you can't wait to get yours! They actually have quite a few up there and are letting people test trive a red GT. I saw a guy up at the Randolph BX about a week or so ago that had bought his from North Park as well.

 

There about $400 but that does not include install.

 

Really??? That's great considering the aluminum door sill plates are $300.

 

Sniff...Tell me spdspappy.....how..is it?...I know you've just got the master piece on wheels , but tell me what do you like best?...The sound of the engine as you elegantly rev...or satisfying sense of being one with the car as you navigate your way?.... .....ahhh beautiful..car...no car...can...be like this car...its really something to be an Rx-8 owner...let alone a rotary powered car owner...thumbs up to everybody who've got theirs same to you spdspappy , I am actually thinking of going to San Antonio ...check out the offer and such and...hopefully...ease the pain of not owning one of the these work-of-arts:D ....anywho, Fellow Rx-8 owners and soon to be...hold your heads up high when showing your work of art .....and rev , loud....for theirs nothing like it.....peace!!...(runs out to check out neighbors 8 ....again )

 

I love the sound of the car. I love how it corners ("it corners like it's on rails"). I love how it looks. I recommend contacting Jim Gise @ world car in New Braunfels (830) 606-4200 ext. 2038. He got me $1k off the car. They have about 5-6 of them on the lot. If you come to town and see a blue one, it might just be me!
