Tein S - after pics

Just dropped my car - so far just over an inch up front and right at .5 inches at the rear. the before shots didn't turn out so well, but here are the after pics (which didn't turn out so well either - sorry for the shadows!!) very happy with the results, looks-wise and handling.

oh, this is my first time trying to post pictures, so i'm not sure if i'm doing it correctly...

DUDE! That badge with just the RX-8 on the back is awesome! HOLY CRAP! I really like that a lot.

Oh, and by the way, go to www.imageshack.us and upload them and it will give you a hotlink for forums and then just put that in the reply and it will put them in the post. Car looks great!

I agree, looks good with just RX-8 on the back, but you gotta do something with those holes!!!

I like S-Techs...

thanks for the compliments.

agreed!! i love the less cluttered look and i love having "rx-8" right in the middle - i was able to cover up the holes in the middle with the rx-8 badge. fortunately the holes on the left aren't THAT noticeable, nor does any water get inside the trunk, but it does look pretty damn bad up close!!! can't decide to have them filled or just get a new trunk (i may go spoiler-less so i don't want to fill holes on top later on).

overall conclusion after a good length drive - s-techs provide a noticeable stiffness in corners and over bumps; louder inside cabin over potholes too but not bad; maintain stock ride quality, still very smooth on highways; drop completely gets rid of fender gaps, but by no means does it look slammed - perfect drop for me as a daily driver but obviously not the most aggressive.

Are you still on stock shocks? I combined the S-Techs with Koni shocks and was very happy with that set-up. I've heard good reviews of the Tokico D Spec's as well.

yes, tigger, still on stock shocks. didn't have the funds to swap them out right now. i've heard good things about konis and will probably go with that when my stocks are worn out. is there much more of a drop visually to have konis and teins? stiffer ride?
