someone kissed my 8's @ss
I did a few searches, but it was hard to find any relevant results. And I figured posting here would get me more results than posting in the show n shine section. So I hope someone can help me out.
Anyway, I got nudged by someone in the parking lot and kissed the black plastic part on the bumper. Now, there is a line about 6+ inches with small scratches. If I get the plastic wet, its not noticeable because its black, but when its dry you can see it. Any ideas on what products might be able to work? Like Plast-X or something? Thanks for your help!

i had a meguiars or mothers product specifically for exterior black trim. i gave it away with my car so i cant remember exactly what it was. i think it was mothers back to black. it worked extremely well on all the 8's trim.
Thanks for the response guys! I've heard people recommend Aerospace 303, I'll do a search on it on Autopia. Do you think a very fine grit sand paper would work to get rid of the scratches? If all fails, I'll use the Back to Black!
The fine grit sandpaper will help smooth out the surface...but it will create more scratches. You could use a fine grit sandpaper 800-1500 and then spray some satin black trim paint on it. Depend s on how brave you are?
