cop at the start: "fat tyres, big bodykit, vented hood, gt wing and **** loads of stickers, going for the macau autosalon? heres your speeding ticket and prepare to receive a letter for your car to be examined"

10 minutes later(black writing on the right)

350z actor: such bad luck, car crash? (sees the pregnant girl)
dont worry miss, will get you to the hospital in 10 mins.

(while in the car)
350z actor: u ok?

pregnant girl: it's very bumpy.

(cop chasing the z)
cop: you again! pull your *** over!

350z actor: pregnant lady is giving birth, sir!

cop: ok follow me.

(at the end)
350z actor: exactly 10 mintues.

pregnant girl: thank you

cop: hand it over.

350z actor: another speeding ticket?

cop: no, dumb *** the speeding ticket from earlier. next time i see you driving like that, i'm gonna remove your license.

350z actor: thankyou sir.

 

Anybody else think mandarin and cantonese sound like whining? I can't stand the language. Not hating just an observation/opinion. (btw i'm half asian and i took nihongo for 2 yrs and love it ^.^)

Actually I would say that most mandarin and cantonese sound like Yelling and Screaming! Have you ever been to dim sum before?? There isn't such a thing as a quiet chinese conversation

lol thats a lot of unnecessary drifting that probably made him slower. i think the Z actiually cost close to 2x as much as it cost in taiwan vs over here in the states, anyone notice the popo was writing a ticket for a skyline GT-S or GT-R

 

this is in hong kong, it's only meant to be a comedy to show off it's drifting, and the person in the z and the girl are both big time hong kong tv stars. and i dont think he did any of the actual drifts at all

 

wow... that is the stupidest movie ever... I don't even care if the guy was driving an 8 (which might make sense for a pregnant chick....) All that swinging and swaying... I'm pretty sure that a pregnant lady would tell the guy to f-ing stop, if I could get pregnant and I was in that situation I'd tell that idiot that his driving sucks....

Those are baby-tricks.... Show me a 350 Z hitting a ramp at 160 mph, doing a backflip, and then landing perfectly... I'll be amazed then...

Those seats probably cost quite a bit. I don't know if I'd want a pregnant chick sitting on one of them if that baby was on its way out...

lol... i guess it was an ok video to showcase drifting in a 350z. but, the story and acting were total cheese ball...

and, for the record, mandarin and cantonese sound nothing alike. mandarin is the unified & official spoken language of all chinese people- regardless of country & location- whereas cantonese is a chinese southern dialect. mandarin is proper and civilized, whereas cantonese is more twangy and slurry.

here's a simple analogy:

think of mandarin as the equivalent of "british english" and cantonese as "southern, hee-haw american english," and you've pretty much got the difference.

 

Well actually there are tons of Mandarin words that sounds like Cantonese ... I know I speak both. Though they do distinctly sound different when spoken in a sentance. They both sound like yelling to me regardless

I find on of the funniest part to be at the very end of the credits; there is an outtake of the 180 from reverse in the bottom right frame... he fails the manuever and rears into the center median HARD!

lol i love how half this thread is about the dialouge. Reguardless of differences and whatnot, it STILL sounds like whining or yelling. ^^; I kno some japanese and Visayan (Filipino dialect) and they don't sound like yelling/whining and this speaks nothing of the romance languages.

 

I don't hate the Z.... just that body kit.
