Yes, I need h11. 6000 to 7000 range would be nice. Hey AC3mastuh, those lights look purple or keep the their blue color??? Seems to be a problem, the higher up the range you go.
Do you have another website/place besides pep boys? Anybody?

Legal or not, the great thing about fog lights is that you can always switch them off. As far as I'm concerned, fog lights are for decoration. Its not like your headlights, that you need to really see in the dark. My headlights are HID, so I can see well enough with those.
I don't know why, but blue fog lights look so attractive at night. I've seen cars with them and my head just locks on to them.
Plus, they can always be changed back if you need to do a vehicle inspection or some cop busts your ***** over something like this.

RotorMotor: I believe Fog lights can't be more then 55watts to be street legal but the truth is that a police officer here will never tell the difference. I've had higher then 55w on my last two cars and NEVER been hassled about it. Because these match so closesly to the HID's, you're even less likely to have a police officer notice.
Can you use H9s to swap the High Beams?? I am also gonna do an H11 swap for the fogs. Pretty cool stuff.
Edit:
And what is city light? Is that the very small yellow light next to the high beams?

I'm in Cali, too. What I have done and will continue to do is if/when I get pulled over for blue lights...
I say that I bought the car that way and that the dealer ensured me that it was street legal. Most cops will let you slide with a warning. But if he's bored, it's a fix it. I then, swap the bulbs go to my local Community College and have the "cops" there sign it off. It may be difficult to get CC cops to find time in their busy schedules to do this. But if you know them, then it's not a problem

I bought these from Autoillumination,,Diamond Blue Xenon Plasma H11's. Now after I put them in they look yellowish/blueish/greenish , but the light that shines on the ground is Blue. The foglight when it is on looks yellowish ,almost multi colored. I think I like them as they look a bit cosmic.
You don't have to take the bumper off just take the lower 10 mm bolts (3 per side) out under the foglight and squeeze your hand in there.

I bought some Luminics on ebay for 30 bucks...
Their H11's that send off I believe it was 6400 K type of light...
Since I've switched my HID's too 10000K, my fogs being blue-er make it look alot bett-er

I've actually got several sets of bulbs at the moments...
First I have a pair of Luminics Titanium White bulbs. They are rated at 5500K and are a little bluer than the stock HIDs. I like them and will probably put them in again in a few months.
Then I decided to try a set of LED fog bulbs, which have a really nice hue colorwise that matches my LED parking and corner lights, but they aren't as bright as a halogen bulb and the bulbs don't fit tight enough and I get condensation in the housing.
I then won pair of PIAA Ion Plasma Yellow bulbs (I know, this thread is about blue bulbs, but these look pretty damn cool). Notice that I also removed the bulb caps inside the housing which allows the bulbs to throw off a little more usable light.
