Wow, got my RX-8 on Saturday! High res pics for all

Picked her up on Saturday morning (a week late, grrr) and wow, what a hot car! I absolutely love it, no way in hell I'm selling it back. The red is amazing. I posted 14 pictures at 1600x1200 on supercars.net, no signing up for anything needed to view them.

Here's the link

http://speed.supercars.net/Board?vie...ID=8&tID=75812

You can reply here or there, i'll check both. Enjoy, I sure am! :D

Those side strakes would make your car looks even hotter. But it's awesome now. SC.net has bunch of pop-ups unless your premium member. I used to go visit there, but not anymore.

DO NOT FOLLOW THIS LINK

After hitting a site with massive pop-ups like that I usually run ad-aware. Just from visiting that site and looking at one picture there were 10 ad/spy files put on my computer.

No problems with me. You guys should stop using Internet Explorer and start using Mozilla! You'll never see popups again and all the stupid ad crap that plague IE browsers.

Thanks for the heads up. Would love to see the pics, but I refuse to go to sites like that.

i know that supercars.net has a serious popup problem, i should have mentioned that before. But, as you could see if you looked at the pics, i have over 1100 posts on the forum there and i'm not a premium member. i just close the popups and run adaware periodically, and i have zero problems. If you're a smart computer user it's not a big deal, and i only do it because i can't upload files of any reasonable size to this board.

by the way, how does one get the side strakes? My car has the appearance package, GT package, AND the rotary accents. Mazda doesn't even list the strakes as an accessory...how do you get them?

How do you get rid of these ad/spy files? How do you know they are on your computer?

AdAware
Spybot

Spybot is better IMO.

I'll be critical...

You've got to get rid of those horrible orange covers on your front fenders. I'm glad they come clear standard in Oz. :D

But it is beautiful!!!

Another way to get prevent popups is to download the "Google Toolbar" -- its really unobtrusive (if you already use google) and it allows you to block or unblock pop-up ads with a single mouse click...

goto google.com and try it out!

(I don't work for google, but i do google)

I love the angle of this shot. I hope you don't mind but I played with it in Photoshop and added a couple options that I might want.

Wave, post the orignal too. You added eyelids, strakes and what else?

EDIT:
Nevermind, I thought the pictures were held on a site that you needed to register. I found the original.

That's all I added. Good eye. I wanted to see the eyelids on one the way I like it.

The eyelids are done very well and I would have assumed they were real but nobody in the USA (the forum anyway) has purchased them yet.

Yeah I had a tough time finding strakes at the right angle. I may tweak them some more. But the eyelids worked out great! They came from the red one East Moon posted. Took a little bit of work but I think they are believable.

Thanks!!
